South Brunswick Township 2016 Leaf Collection Schedule The Township expects to have leaf crews in each of four collection areas three times during the leaf season. The collection schedule listed is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to maintain this schedule.
AREA 1 (Between Route 27 and Route 1 & Between Kingston and New Road) PICK UP DATES Round 1: 10/17*, 10/18, 10/19 Round 2: 11/2*, 11/3, 11/4, 11/7 Round 3: 12/5*, 12/6, 12/7
AREA 2 (Between Route 27 and Route 1 & Between New Road and Beekman Road) PICK UP DATES Round 1: 10/20*, 10/21, 10/24 Round 2: 11/9*, 11/10, 11/14, 11/15 Round 3: 12/8*, 12/9, 12/12 *IMPORTANT: Leaves must be raked by 7:30 a.m. the first date in the collection round for pick up during that round. By LAW leaves may not be put out more than 7 days before the scheduled pick up and cannot be placed within 10 feet of a catch basin. Rake leaves to the curb, not into the street, and place leaves no further than 10 feet from the road's edge.
AREA 3 (Between Route 27 and Route 1 & between Beekman Road & Finnegans Lane) PICK UP DATES Round 1: 10/25*, 10/26, 10/27 Round 2: 11/17*, 11/18, 11/21, 11/22 Round 3: 12/13*, 12/14, 12/15
NO bags, rocks, litter or brush are collected with leaves. AREA 4 NO collection from commercial properties. NOTE: Bagged leaves may be DELIVERED to the Township's Drop Off Convenience Area (NOT the Recycling Center) located behind Sondek Park on New Road. The Area is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. BAGS MUST BE EMPTIED AND REMOVED.
