Friday – August 4, 2017 @ 2:00 p.m. City of Plantation Plantation Police Department (Media Center) 451 NW 70th Terrace Plantation, FL 33317
DIRECTIONS: From I-95 North/South – Exit 29 (Sunrise Boulevard): o Coming from either direction on I-95, exit at Sunrise Blvd. Head west towards the City of Plantation, passing the Swap Shop, then traveling over the Broward Blvd./SR 7 (441) and Florida Turnpike overpasses. o AT the NW 65th Ave. traffic light, turn left, continuing around the curve past NW 70th St. (roadway becomes NW 5th St. after the curve) o Take the very next left – NW 70th Terrace, then a quick left turn into the Plantation PD’s visitor parking lot. From Florida Turnpike North/South – Exit 58 (Sunrise Boulevard): o Coming from either direction on the Turnpike, exit at Sunrise Blvd. and head west towards Plantation. o At the NW 6th Ave. Traffic light, turn left, continuing around the curve past NW 70th St. (roadway becomes NW 5th St. after the curve) o Take the very next left – NW 70th Terrace, then a quick left turn into the Plantation PD’s visitor parking lot. From I-595 East/West – now Exit 6 after renovation (University Drive): o Coming from either direction on I-595, exit at University Drive and head north. o Right turn onto University Drive if coming from FL Turnpike or I-95; left turn if coming from I-75. o Continue north past Westfield Broward Mall and through the University/Broward Blvd. intersection, then turn right at the NW 5th St. traffic light, heading east. o At NW 70th Terrace make a right turn, then a quick left turn into the Plantation PD’s visitor parking lot. A map is attached for additional guidance. Notes: o After parking please walk across the street to the meeting location. Plantation PD and Media Center are in the building on the opposite side of NW 70th Terrace.
