1. Enter the Cranbrook campus via 39221 Woodward Ave (located on the west side of Woodward, between Lone Pine and Long Lake Rds). 2. Follow the entry road, past the security gate (the gates will be open and you can drive past) to the bottom of the hills. 3. Make the FIRST LEFT TURN you can make, entering the Kingswood campus parking lot (“L” shaped) and park. 4. After parking, walk to the vertex of the “L”, next to Stony House, walk (or jog!) the dirt road to a black metal bridge that will be on your right. Crossing the bridge places you on McLain Field – located on the back side of the Girls’ Middle School.

Take I-94 west to the Lansing exit on the northwest side of Jackson. You will go past 127 South. Do not take this route. Continue another 3 miles (approx) to 127 North. Exit and turn left (south). The road will then be M-50 (West Ave). Go 2-3 miles south to High St. (there are a couple of gas stations at this corner). Turn left and go a short distance to 4 th Ave. Turn right on 4th and go about a mile to the entrance to Sharp Park. (Across the street from Parkside Middle School.)

Chestnut Grove; Joy Road East to Canton Center. Turn Right. Go to Ford Road and Turn Left. Take Ford to 275 and tun right (Southbound). Take 275 South to Exit 11A (Huron St). Follow back over the freeway (East) until the road dead ends into Willow Metropark. Turn right (South) and go approximately 2 miles to Chestnut picnic area. The race is in the Chestnut Grove Area which is the 3rd right after you enter the park. It is a long way around, and you pass the Willow Road Entrance. The entrance to Chestnut is the first right after the Willow Road Entrance. Check Salem and Pioneer HS CC website for details.
