Betty Goodman-Klein 8232 Van Buren Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15237 No refunds within 30 days of the event In our continued efforts to collaborate with charitable organizations, we will be having a basket raffle with proceeds benefiting “Angels of Allegheny.” This non-profit organization provides a service to honor our fallen nursing colleagues and who at the time of their passing much like a police officer service. They recognize the nurse’s service and officially retire that nurse’s license with presentation of a Florence Nightingale lamp upon passing of fellow nurse. The service is done at the viewing at the request of the family. This activity has been submitted to AAOHN for approval to award contact hours. AAOHN is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
