TheSPECTRUM CALENDAR OF EVENTS Feb 3
University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH with a talk by Dr. Phillips and tour of facilities.
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE February 2005:
I wanted to start out and thank everyone for coming to the Blackhawk tour and especially thank Blackhawk for hosting the event. It was Mar 3 Materials Night Alex's Dayton, OH great to see so many people turn out for a great presentation. Think back to a place far, far away Apr 7 Education Night when you were a student or just learning about plastic, (This Alex's Dayton, OH might be harder for some, I believe I was still in diapers chewing May 5 Automation Night on a runner or something like that). When someone explained Why and How You Could about the workings of an injection mold or an injection machine, and Should or even saw the movie the graduate and when the word “Plastics” was mentioned and this was the future of manufacturing........ Jun 13 Golf Outing Hamilton Elks were you hooked? Well all of the students that are apart of the SPE are in fact hooked! They appreciate our support and without them out chapter and industry can’t grow. We need to show them our support and see how we can better support their program. Come learn how we can do this by coming to The University of Cincinnati’s Engineering department on Thursday February 3rd we are meeting at The University of Cincinnati’s Engineering department. All of the information needed is on the website with detailed maps and itinerary. They have been working hard and are eagerly waiting to show them what they are about and show just how important MVSPE is to their education and their professional development. Thanks again!
