Attn: Society of Petroleum Engineers Re: SPE-ITESCO Student Chapter To Whom It May Concern: One of SPE Mexico’s action plans is to promote the creation of student chapters at institutions with majors in Earth Sciences, and Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Coatzacoalcos(ITESCO) and its petroleum engineering students are very cognizant of how important the Society of Petroleum Engineering is in the oil and gas industry. As such, I would like to state SPE Mexico’s intention to participate in the process of creating this student chapter and to make certain that all of the corresponding obligations are fulfilled. Finally, I would like to reiterate SPE Mexico Section’s willingness to provide support and to promote teamwork in order to compile, disseminate and share technical knowledge relating to hydrocarbon exploration, development and production and to provide opportunities for the students to improve their technical and professional skills.
