Paige Reisinger and Vanessa Gaines Receive Special 4-H Animal Awards
Paige Reisinger of the Houston Cardinals 4-H Club was chosen as the recipient of the 2014 Moore Family 4-H Goat Award and Vanessa Gaines of the Westville 4-H Club was chosen as the recipient of the 2014 Double “K”
Showpigs Swine Award. These awards recognize one Kent County 4-H member from both the 4-H Goat Project and 4-H Swine Project during the past 4-H year. Paige and Vanessa were selected for these awards based on essays that were submitted by Kent County 4-H members on the topic of “What I have Learned from my 4-H Animal Project.” As the recipients of these awards, Paige will receive a market goat presented by the Wayne Moore Family of Sandyland Farm Boer Goats and Vanessa will receive a market swine presented by Kayla and Kristen Kemp of Double “K” Showpigs. These awards are presented annually by these 4-H Sponsors to recognize and support the efforts of 4-H youth with their 4-H animal projects.
