MEMBERSHIP DRIVE Tuesday, October 2 will be an evening of networking and the opportunity to hear our very own Kristi Rotvold, CAP-OM ~ International Secretary, present us with a talk on “Setting the Standards.” This is a great opportunity to present our chapter to others. This meeting has been designated for our membership drive. And how great it is that we have an International officer, and one of own to boot, be the featured speaker. Because the business of our chapter will be addressed at the joint chapter meeting with the Detroit Lakes Chapter in DL on October 7, this event will be dedicated to a great speaker, networking, and a Q&A for guests and members alike. This event will be held at Wells Fargo, 406 Main Avenue, Fargo, in the Sanford Human Resources Department, Conference Room 4A. It will start at 5:30 with some networking and as luck would have it, we will have a potluck. Please RSVP to Ann by September 28 and get out your favorite recipe and invite as many guests as you want. Please let Ann know who you have invited and has committed to attending.
The $14.00 charge for members will be collected. For first time guests, the meal is no charge. Please come and network, have great food (because it will made by us), listen to a great speaker, and introduce someone new to IAAP!

Kristi Rotvold, CAP-OM International secretary International Association of Administrative Professionals The Membership Committee is pleased to announce our very own Red River Chapter member, Kristi Rotvold, CAP-OM will be speaking to the group on Tuesday, October 2 during our membership drive. The title of her program will be “Setting the Standard” with an emphasis on Leadership & Mentoring. Kristi is an active member of our chapter, having held numerous committee and officer positions. She was recently elected International Secretary at EFAM 2012 in Grapevine, TX. She was the President of the MN-ND-SD Division for 2008-2009 and served as the Secretary, Treasurer and President-Elect of the Division. In addition, she served as the co-coordinator of the 2009 International Convention and Education Forum that took place in Minneapolis July 26-29, 2009. Kristi is an Executive Assistant – Corporate with Sanford Health. In her spare time, she follows NDSU sports, volunteers for local community theatre productions, bowls in a women’s league and is involved in her church’s bell choir. Her only child, Meghan, is an RN, BSN at Mayo – St. Mary’s in Rochester, MN.

If you are not on Standing Cancellation, a reservation will automatically be made for you. If you are not on Standing Cancellation and you will not be attending, you must call and let Ann know you are not attending. Costs Are As Follows Red River Chapter members who are both eating and attending the program ($14) Guests eating and attending the program are free for the first meeting they attend. All NO SHOWS will be billed $14.00 payable to the chapter. Please stop by the registration table when you arrive for the evening.
