Special Olympics Baseball Tournament Every July you can find us providing a free hot dog lunch to over 500 Special Olympics baseball players. Now this is a truly special project for our club? The Auburn Parks & Recreation Dept has a tournament for this population of special athletics on a weekend in July and they have a wonderful time competiting against each other. We provide hot dogs, chips and a cold drink on a warm July day and they love the lunch and interaction with us. We also love it. It’s a heartwarming day for all of our members who participate.
