Spinning Off VMs to the Cloud Vembu now supports cloud disaster recovery as a service. So on-premise backup data can replicated from Vembu BDR backup servers to Vembu Cloud which is hosted on Amazon Web Services. As part of disaster recovery, now the backed up machine images can be launched into Amazon Web Services as an EC2 instance. So during disaster you can access your critical servers from anywhere, anytime. This is to facilitate for the IT administrators and system professionals provide ease of access to data when it comes to crucial time. Requirements For this option to be available, Cloud DR service must be enabled from Vembu BDR backup server webconsole. Once the service enabled, all backed up data will be replicated to Vembu Cloud Servers.
How to Request this Service You can contact our support team at [email protected] at any time. While sending the email, let us know your company name, client machine name and backup name with recovery timestamp. This information is more than enough for us; we will start the initiating the spinning up of VM from our end. Once the machine is successfully launched as AWS EC2 instance, we will update you with the public IP send all the require information to access the instance.
