Around the Community CFFA (Christian Formation For All): Our Adult Advent Study continues today in the library/chapel between services. Please pick up your Advent Study booklet and take a look at our first week’s reading and questions for discussion so we have more time to discuss the reading as we dig into the meaning of Advent in our own lives. Each week is independent of the other weeks, so please feel free to pick up the study booklet and drop in if you can’t make all four weeks.

Women’s Bible Study: continues this Wednesday from 4:005:00 pm, meeting in Room 4 of the Education Building. See you Wednesday!! All women welcome!

First Fruits Sunday! We celebrate the first Sunday of each month as First Fruits Sunday. Thanks to all who already bring in non-perishable food items. Your gifts make a difference. This is a great way to put our faith into action, and to continue our Lord’s mission to care for, and feed our hungry neighbors.

Year End Pot Luck: Please join us to ring out the old year and ring in the new….. December 28th after the joint 9:30 am service . Ham will be provided so bring either breakfast or lunch food to go with the ham. We will also need a couple of people to bring desserts/sweets. Please sign up to bring food: At the back of the sanctuary and please list what you will bring. Just so that we know how many to prepare for, please pick up a ticket for each person attending from Larry Kenyon at the 8:30 service or from Diana Bowie at the 10:30 service at the next two services.

Coming in January: Living Compass is a faith-based wellness ministry, grounded in Scripture and the tradition of the Church. This is a fabulous program that helps us all to live the abundant life God intends for us. Our programs for adults and parents will be offered soon. Groups will meet the first Sunday of the month after the 10:30 service. A sign-up sheet will be available next Sunday. Please sign up as we need to order participant materials.
