Spokane Mountaineers. The club’s most im portant undertaking was the first ascent of M ount Cooper (10,135 feet) in Idaho and is reported in more detail by W . S. Boulton elsewhere in this Journal. Official club climbs in the Cascades included Stuart, Bonanza, Cashmere Crags, Adams, and Rainier. Our Kellogg, Idaho, associates climbed six peaks in the Bugaboos, including the original Conrad K ain route on Bugaboo Spire. The opening of the new highway through Glacier, B.C., has now made weekend climbing possible in that area.
