SPONSOR A STUDENT & BOOK BAG BUDDY PROGRAM 2017-2018 Making a difference, one family at a time Families from all walks of life struggle with financial hardship which impacts how their children perform in school and beyond. It impacts your neighbors, your friends, your children’s friends. The NMS FRC is committed to doing what we can to make every child’s experience at NMS as positive and successful as possible.
Here’s how YOU can help! SPONSOR A STUDENT – A family (or team of families) agrees to cover the cost of PTA and schoolsponsored, fee-based events, trips and/or activities for ONE student, throughout the school year, as needed. Fees differ from grade to grade and are subject to change. FEE ESTIMATES (based on previous years): 6th: $150-$190 7th: $150-$190 8th: $200 -$225 YOU WILL BE CONTACTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHEN A STUDENT FEE IS NEEDED AND YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION TO PASS IF NECESSARY!
BOOK BAG BUDDY – When you go school supply shopping for your child this Fall, buy an extra backpack and fill it up with school supplies. You may base your purchases on a District school supply list for a given grade, or just fill it up with whatever is on sale! PLEASE DROP OFF YOUR BOOK BAG DONATION(S) TO GUIDANCE OFFICE DURING 1ST WEEK OF SCHOOL.
