The Turkey Day Jamboree is pleased to have DeTech as our title sponsor for the 15th Annual Jamboree! This event is scheduled to take place the first weekend after Thanksgiving (November 24, 25, 26). With the guarantee of 3 games this is an excellent opportunity to find out where your team stands against the competition! Every attempt will be made to match teams up by division. All games will be played at Minnechaug Regional H.S and Wilb. Monson Academy. Dates: November 24th, 25th, 26th Location: Minnechaug Regional High School and Wilbraham Monson Academy. Fee: $200 per team/$225 per High School Team Guarantee: 3 games, certified officials, and an unforgettable experience! Rules: See attached rule sheet. The Turkey Day Jamboree reserves the right to amend or alter any or all rules, at any time. The main objective is to keep the games on schedule to ensure that participating teams are able to play all games. Uniforms: Uniforms must be same in color and in style. All uniforms must have numbers on the back. Roster: Limited to the Suburban or CYO (competitive travel for CT teams) roster for the 2017-18 season. High School open roster (JV Divisions will be formed if enough teams register, if not all HS teams will play in one division). AAU/All-Star teams are not allowed. Jamboree Rules * Regular Suburban rules and regulations will apply with the following exceptions. • Play will consist of (2) 16-minute halves. o Running time, clock stops: foul shots, time outs, injuries. o Stop time for the last minute of each half. o Clock will continue to run if score differential is more than 20 points. o Half time will be 3 minutes long. o No 30 second shot clock o Ten second half court rule for both boys and girls o 7 team fouls for bonus, 10 for double bonus • In the 5th and 6th grade division pressing is only allowed the last three minutes of the game and overtime. In the 7th and 8th grade pressing is allowed at any time during the game. No pressing when leading by 15 or more points. • If a team is up by 15 or more points, at the 5th through 8th grade boys and girls divisions, the defense needs to go inside the three point arc until offense crosses mid court. Once ball crosses defense can come out. • Teams are allowed two time outs per half, no carryover. • Three minute overtime period with the last minute stop time.
