WCRC is a volunteer recreation council, sponsored by the Carroll County Recreation and Parks program and was established to meet the recreational needs of the county's citizens by providing a variety of affordable sports programs and recreational services.

Attend 4 meetings in 12 consecutive months and be eligible to vote

Certificate of Insurance Coverage for non paid volunteers



Ability to apply for Self-Help Funds for program needs through CCRP

Relationships with the Town of New Windsor and Union Bride with access to town parks, fields and community centers



Ability to collect tax deductible donations for program through Friends of Carroll Recreation and Parks



Background checks performed on all volunteers through Carroll County Recreation and Parks (CCRP)



High School Program participants eligible to apply for $1000 Scholarship Award



Registration forms and web site page offered with social media promotions



Monthly meeting with council and other program coordinators to problems solve and innovate
