Sponsorship Opportunity Second Annual CCTS Space Coast Robotics Day, Saturday, October 5, 2013, 9AM-2PM at Roosevelt Elementary School, in Cocoa Beach, FL The Canaveral Council of Technical Societies (CCTS) along with its member societies including supporting sponsors, the NASA Alumni League, the Cape Canaveral Section of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and the Space Coast Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and the North Florida Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi) are proud to announce the upcoming Second Annual Space Coast Robotics Day.
At the First Annual Space Coast Robotics Day in 2012 approximately 300 participants attended, including students from 16 elementary school FIRST® LEGO® League competitive robotics teams, and five high school FIRST® Robotics Competition and FIRST® Tech Challenge robotics teams, as well as professionals from technical societies, parents, and the general public. The NASA Exploration Office demonstrated their Lunabotics program, and the Florida Tech Lunabotics Team showed off their simulated lunar excavator. In addition to raising public awareness of the outstanding work done by Brevard County students in critical areas related to STEM education, this day-long event is a means of providing sponsorship to participating robotics teams to support their efforts and travel to national and international competitions. CCTS is seeking Sponsorship Partners to help support this event. Due to recent budget cut-backs, the need for financial support of these teams is now greater than ever. CCTS will cover all operational expenses associated with this event. All sponsorship funds donated by sponsors will be passed on directly to participating high school level FRC and FTC robotics teams for use in supporting their team activities. Benefits to Sponsors include the following: $1,000 and above Name and Logo on all press releases, and materials distributed at the event. Name and Logo on banner to be posted centrally on the date of the event. Name and Logo to be used by participating teams in their press-releases, T-shirts, etc. Opportunity to present award check at closing ceremony.

Please note: if your organization has a direct relationship with an individual robotic team, or is a direct sponsor of the FIRST® organization or FIRST® regional/national/international events, CCTS thanks you and asks that you please continue such support, and do not consider sponsorship of the CCTS Space Coast Robotics Day as a substitute for that support.
