Coach’s Notebook Several years ago our varsity team t-shirts simply stated, “Winning is Tradition.” This phrase really does sum up what our program has stood for over the decades. Over the last 31 years, the Manheim Township boys soccer team has won 14 section titles, 11 league titles, 5 district titles, and a state runner-up trophy. It is a storied program with a bright future ahead. We look forward to adding to this tradition during the upcoming season, and the seasons beyond. We are excited for the upcoming season and, from 7th-12th grade, we have a very talented group of players ready to give their all for the team and this program. The boys have been doing strength conditioning in the offseason and will work especially hard together this summer. They are hungry to add to the MT tradition. We have a strong and dedicated coaching staff, as well as fantastic parent and fan support. We are all ready for an exciting 2017 season! However, one thing we do need is financial support to help us achieve our goals. While the school budget does cover many of the team’s essentials, it does not provide enough for all that we need. Your support will help us with items such as fitness equipment to keep our players in shape and healthy; team management technology; team-building events; and training and game equipment. This year we will be creating a game program including information about all the teams, schedules, photos and other pertinent program information. Your contribution will enable you to put a note in the program for a specific player or the team in general. You also have the opportunity to have your business recognized and promoted through advertisements. THANK YOU in advance for your contribution and support of the team.
