Sportsmanship Pledge of Conduct
Sportsmanship Pledge of Conduct Neighborhood Sports (NS) wants to make our sports league an enjoyable experience for everyone. To help create this positive environment, we established a “Sportsmanship Pledge of Conduct” that everyone in the league is required to uphold.
1. I will provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child and all participants in NS sports activities. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials, at every game, practice, or event. All spectators will refrain from coaching from the stands. 2. The rules governing our sports events state that both teams will honor and respect all calls made by referees. I will not question their calls or make unsportsmanlike comments towards the officials. 3. Rough play and fighting will not be tolerated. NS event officials reserve the right to interrupt any game which they deem is not within the bounds of fair play or sportsmanship. 4. Physical or verbal abuse toward a referee, players, coaches, spectators or event staff will result in a team sanction and dismissal of the perpetrator(s) from the event by NS staff. 5. I understand the following items/actions are not tolerated at NS sponsored activities: ◦ No Alcoholic products, Smoking, or use of profanity ◦ No mistreatment or misuse of property or facilities including equipment, fields and buildings ◦ Parking in designated No Parking Zones will subject the vehicle to towing at the owner's expense 6. I understand that I should provide sportsmanship guidance to family, friends, and invited guests at NS events. 7. I understand that until I sign the “Sportsmanship Pledge of Conduct” my child may not participate in games. Sport & Division (age):
