Rules of the Game: All players must play at least 50% of each half. All players must wear shin-guards and soccer cleats when on the field No Off Sides; however, no cherry picking. Egregious violations will be called by referees No Select/Competitive players are allowed to play in the current Recreational season without approval Teams cannot score from a Kick-off, Goal kick, or Throw-in No slide tackles. Any player persistently infringing can be removed from the game by referee If one team is short of players then players should be shared, wherever possible. Focus should be to get players on the field. Coaches can agree to play 1 more or 1 less on field based on available players. • NO HEADERS - headers result in a dead ball kick for the other team from the spot of the header • • • • • • •

U5/U6/U7: • At Kick-off and Restart of play, opponent needs to be at least 10 yards from the ball until it is in play • An improperly performed throw-in can be retaken once • Goal kick will be taken 2-3 yards off the goal line anywhere across the width of the field of play with the opponent at least 10 yards from the ball until it is in play • During Corner kicks, opponent needs to be at least 5 yards from the ball until it is in play • Coach can be on the field • No player can be inside arc in front of goal and no player can play “goalie” • Ball cannot be touched inside the arc. If the offensive team touches it inside the arc, it is a goal kick. If the defensive team touches it, the offensive team gets a penalty kick from 8 yds out, no defensive player may be between the penalty kicker and the goal. If the ball stops in the arc, it is a goal kick.

Tampa Dynamo FC Recreational League U8/U9/U10: Opponent needs to be remain 8 yards from the ball until it is in play Goal kick must come out of the goal box before play can continue No one player can play goalie for more than 50% of the game Goalie is deemed to have possession of the ball when at least one hand is on the ball (referee discretion) No goalie punting When the goalie obtains possession of the ball, the opponent must move behind the build out line (hashed line). The goalie may roll/throw the ball or place it on the ground and kick it. The other team may not cross the build out line until the goalie puts the ball in play, i.e., when the ball has been rolled or kicked by the goalie. • Penalty kicks are 10 yards from the midpoint between the goalposts • All dead ball kicks are indirect except for penalty kicks. • • • • • •
