Saturday, May 6, 2017 8am- 1pm Donation Guidelines Spring and the Spring Fling will be here before you know it, and it’s time to clean out your closets, attics, garage, wherever to donate! The following guidelines will help you decide on appropriate items to bring and help us all have a profitable sale.   

 

All items should be clean, mended, working and in good repair. We can’t sell torn, dirty or broken items, so please do not bring them. Please place items in the appropriate department, i.e., kitchen, linens, books, etc. Areas will be well marked so if no one is there, you can find the right section. Donations of large furniture or other large items in good repair can be stored in our Ample Storage unit on Hillsborough Road as of Feb 1st through April 30. Please contact Martha Lassiter at [email protected] if you cannot transport items yourself. All other donations will be accepted in Johnson Hall beginning Monday, May 1st through Friday May 6th . We have many types of merchandise accepted, but the following items will NOT be accepted: o Toys that are broken or missing pieces o No clothing or shoes o Mattresses and bed pillows o Futons and waterbeds o Sleeper sofas o Old, worn upholstered furniture in poor condition o Large appliances o Exercise bikes/Treadmills that cannot be proven to work o CRT’s - these are Cathode Ray Tube televisions o Any electronic device and accessories that do not work (eg. computers and associated equipment, DVDs, TV’s etc) o Computer software o VCR tapes o Child car seats

The success of the Spring Fling depends on your generous donations. Thank you!!
