SWA Group provided master planning services for this approximately 30-acre year round ski resort at The Village in Squaw Valley, USA. The master plan included a ski village with a daytime population of 20,000 and a nighttime population of 10,000. The village also included approximately 1,000 new hotel rooms, 1,165 new condominiums, and 200,000 square feet of retail shops and restaurant areas. A nine-hole golf course at the Squaw Creek area complemented the existing 18-hole golf course. The lake and village core of the master plan offered new vitality to the year round recreational use of Squaw Valley.
