Special Stage:

SS8 Dyfi West (6.41km)

Weather:

Overcast and dry

Road Conditions: Slippy

201. Nigel Griffiths (GBR) / Jon Scott (GBR) (Subaru Impreza) It was very slippery in there but we were quick and had no problems 203. Roger Chilman (GBR) / Andrew Sankey (GBR) (Subaru Impreza WRC) There is a big compression on one corner but we are having a lot of fun 204. Roger Duckworth (GBR) / Mark Broomfield (GBR) (Subaru Impreza WRC) We are having braking problems at the front and are losing time 214. Michael O'Brien (IRL) / Paul Spooner (IRL) (Ford Focus WRC) That was completely rubbish! 206. Barry Groundwater (GBR) / Neil Shanks (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) Very slippy in there so we backed off a bit as there's a long way to go 207. Alex Allingham (GBR) / Mark Glennerster (GBR) (Subaru Impreza) Slippery, just trying to enjoy ourselves 208. Tom Naughton (GBR) / Horace Saville (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) Looking at our times it is going well, so we can't complain 209. Wug Utting (GBR) / Bob Stokoe (GBR) (Subaru Impreza) We spun on a hairpin and sustained slight bodywork damage 210. Jamie Anderson (GBR) / Ella Flynn (GBR) (Mitusbishi Lancer Evolution IX) We are struggling to get the braking right in the slippy conditions 211. Peter Egerton (GBR) / Alun Cook (GBR) (Hyundai Accent) That was a bit of a culture shock after a year in historics 229. Wayne Sisson (GBR) / David MacFadyen (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) Braking late in the corners, and losing a bit of time

212. Bob Ceen (GBR) / Andy Bull (GBR) (Subaru Impreza WRC) Nothing special but OK 213. Donnie MacDonald (GBR) / Andrew Falconer (GBR) (Mitsubishi Evolution IX) That was disastrous! 214. Michael O'Brien (IRL) / Paul Spooner (IRL) (Ford Focus WRC) Really, really slippery. It was a clean run but it didn't feel quick. Very loose in the middle section with lots of gravel 207. Alex Allingham (GBR) / Mark Glennerster (GBR) (Subaru Impreza) Really slippy. Bad ruts over the first few km and I had to overtake Barry Groundwater who had a problem and he let me past 208. Tom Naughton (GBR) / Horace Saville (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) Stage is pretty rough in some places and quite slippy as well 206. Barry Groundwater (GBR) / Neil Shanks (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) No brakes, I think its a burst pipe a couple of miles from the start. Sick as a dog to only have made it this far 216. John Morrison (GBR) / Peter Carstairs (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) I enjoyed that stage very much but the back end is moving around very much particularly on the hairpins as we are carrying too many spares. 218. Theo Bengry (GBR) / Les Forsbrook (GBR) (Ford Focus WRC) The anti-lag as gone off after half a mile into the stage. It should be fixable 219. Sara Williams (GBR) / (Subaru Impreza) Extremely slippery, hard to get traction out of the corners, varible surfaces 220. Luke Francis (GBR) / John Roberts (GBR) (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) It was good, I'm just getting used to doing a long stage. No moments for us. 221. Dylan Davies (GBR) / Llion Williams (GBR) (Subaru Impreza) A quiet run but very slippery
