Camp Directors Brandon Potter
Directing this NIKE Baseball Camp is head coah Brandon Potter, who begins his second season at St. John Fisher College. In his first year at the helm of the Cardinals, Potter coached Fisher to its best season in the program’s 23-year history. Fisher finished the 2010 season with an overall record of 31-14, setting a new College-record for wins in a season. The Cardinals won their first Empire 8 Conference title and finished second at the New York Regional of the NCAA Division III Championship, bowing out 7-6 in the bottom of the ninth inning in the title game to the eventual national runner-up. Potter played four years of baseball while attending Fisher. As a catcher he was named to the Empire 8 second team in his senior year (2004) after making honorable mention in his junior season (2003).

Potter also played for the Finger Lakes Community College baseball team, being recognized as an All-Region selection in 2001. After graduating from Fisher, he spent a year with the Cardinal baseball coaching staff as an assistant. He helped guide Fisher to a successful 2006 season, finishing 26-15.

Potter went on to serve as an assistant coach for Minnesota State University, Mankato (NSIC – DII) where he aided in setting a school record for wins (45), and Cerro Coso Community College (Foothills Conference) in Ridgecrest, California. Between those two positions he coached five players taken in the MLB Draft. He also served first as the pitching coach and then as the Head Coach for the New York Collegiate Baseball League’s (NYCBL) Watertown Wizards. Potter is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
Facility Dugan Yard field, located on the College’s South Campus, is the home for St. John Fisher College baseball. Dugan Yard was funded by a gift from Kevin Dugan, and opened in the spring of 2001. The field is dedicated to the memory of his father, Donald M. Dugan, who was an avid baseball fan. In the spring of 2007, Dugan Yard was enhanced with the addition of a club house and a training facility/press box. The training facility is state-of-the-art and is risen above the third baseline with windows looking over the diamond. In 2011, the baseball facility was upgraded again with the addition of a grandstand facility behind the backstop along with personalized wind screens on the outfield fence.
