BIBLE STUDY

Will meet on Monday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Gladys Drenkow’s home. Bible Study: Gail P. Hostess: Gail P.

Sack Lunch Bible Study will meet on Tuesdays, September 5, 12, 19 & 26 at 12:00 p.m. in the church lounge.

MISSION & OUTREACH

Men’s Early Risers meet at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesdays, September 6, 13, 20 & 27 at Cook’s Café.

Will meet on September 13 at 9:00 a.m. (Potluck Lunch)

DO-DAY Will meet on September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Potluck Lunch)

SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School classes will resume on Rally Sunday, September 10 from 10:15 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. During the Worship Service there will be Bible Presentations for the Nursery and 3rd grade children.

JAM

The Wednesday JAM program (1st—5th grades) will begin on September 13 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with a meal being served.

Sub Sandwich Youth Fundraiser:

The Youth are once again selling great SUBS for a fundraiser. There are great to freeze and pull out for a quick meal on the go. The subs will have turkey, ham, roast beef, and two kinds of cheese. Subs are $3.00 each and you can order from any member of the Jr./Sr. Youth Group or Mark. They will be taking orders from August 30 through September 18. Thank you for your support!

Open Coffee Fellowship Dates: November (5, 12, 19, 26); December (3, 10, 17, 24, 31). BRAT STAND The "Socials" will again be sponsoring the Lutheran Brat Stand at the Sheldon Celebration Days this Labor Day, Monday, September 4, at the City Park. We will need your help again this year. Volunteers are needed to work one-hour shifts. The sign-up is in the narthex for volunteers shifts and booth item donations. Monetary gifts are welcome to help cover expenses. PRAYER CHAINS It is time to update the Prayer Chains. If you would like to be removed or added to the Prayer Chains, please contact the church office by Friday, September 8. A copy of the new Prayer Chains will be put in your church mailbox by the end of September. ST. PAUL CLAY PIGEON SHOOT Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot!! Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 24 at 2:30 p.m. when Pastor Craig will have the annual Clay Pigeon Shoot Out at Gerry and Kathy Seivert’s home. PURPLE COW EVENT The Fellowship Committee is sponsoring an Ice Cream Social for our congregation and neighbors featuring the Purple Cow Ice Cream Truck on Wednesday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m. Join in the fellowship, games, and ice cream! Everyone is welcome to join in this fun event! COATS FOR KIDS Bubbles Dry Cleaning of Sheldon will again be collecting coats for the ministerial association's giveaway on November 4. Coats can be dropped off at Bubbles from September 25 through October 27. Coats should not have major damage, rips or permanent stains. St. Paul will have a box labeled for Coats For Kids if you wish to bring coats to the church.
