ST RAPHAEL’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL, PRESTON WEST SCHOOL FEE & PARISH SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR 2016 Dear Parents, Thank you for choosing St Raphael’s School in 2016. Our wonderful school is our parish primary school and is an integral part of our parish community. By enrolling your child you have chosen to be part of our community and in doing so accept the responsibility to be an active participant in parish life. We seek the support of every parish family in three key areas  Celebrate our faith together — join us at weekly Mass  Be involved in parish life — join a parish group or ministry  Financially support the works of our parish — either through the existing Stewardship Program or by payment of the Parish Contribution Your financial support will help pay parish expenses such as:  Liturgy and sacramental programs, including First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, Confirmation, School Masses etc.  Pastoral resources and programs, including support for new families, home visits to the sick and aged and bereavement support  Repairs, maintenance and insurance for our church and presbytery  Administration expenses — phone, computer, printing etc.  Utilities expenses —gas, electricity and water 

Camp Year 5/6 Canberra & Year 3/4 Local One Night Camp Student Levy The school has been very conscious of keeping the cost of fees and levies as affordable as possible for all families. This levy will enable all children to receive the benefits of the many and varied programs offered throughout the school. The following expenses are all paid for by the Student Levy and cover the costs of the many resources and equipment that the children use on a regular basis. Bus costs have also increased dramatically in recent times and present a major increase in expense. 1. Religious Education  Sacraments for Year 3/4 & 6  St Patrick's Day Mass @ St Patrick's Cathedral 2. Maintenance Fee  Building and Grounds Maintenance Fee = $60/ child 3. Curriculum Costs  Literacy resources  Numeracy resources  Performing Arts  Visual Arts  Physical Education equipment  Teacher Resources  Science  First Aid 4. Sport  Interschool Sport  PDPSSA Sports Carnivals - Swimming, Athletics, Cross Country, Hooptime — trials, training and participation  St Raphael's Sports Day  Footy Day 

Parish Contribution

$260

Payment Details Parish Contribution — at the commencement of Term One the parish will forward accounts for the Parish Contribution. All payments are made directly to and receipts will be issued by the parish. The preferred method of payment is by credit card or direct debit; however cash payments can be arranged if required. Payments can be made in full at the start of the year or regular deductions can be organised with the parish office. Please note families paying a minimum of $260 to the Stewardship Program are exempt from the Parish Contribution. School Fees — at the commencement of Term One our school will issue accounts for all School Fees and Levies payable in 2016. There is a discount of $200 if all fees and levies are paid by 30/06/2016. All Fees and levies must be paid by 10th October 2016. Payments may be made in cash, internet banking, by cheque, VISA, Mastercard or by instalments through our Direct Debit facility Please Note If you are experiencing any difficulties in paying your School Fees or your Parish Contribution, please arrange an appointment with either Acting Principal Damian Howard (School Fees) or Fr Raymond (Parish Contribution).
