STACKED CHRISTMAS TREE Supply List Pattern-“Towering Trees”--25% off for class at RSC With this pattern, I used a Jelly Roll. I found that the difference in the width the pattern called for and the standard 2 ½” jelly roll, there wasn’t much difference to worry about. The choice is yours. If you use a jelly roll you will get a lot more accomplished before leaving class. The tree can be made with any fabric, and any height. You will need to make several copies of the layer pattern to have the right sizes and angles. I made a set out of the stiff plastic. If you can do this ahead of class that will be great. Ask for help at the sewing center if you have questions. Have your pattern, and fabric choices cut and ready for class. You will also need: -Thin batting 2/3 yd for large tree, ½ yd for small tree--I used Battilizer but you can also use the soft and stable. It’s a bit harder to work with though. 6” cord for hanging Embellishments- i.e. charms, bells, beads, buttons.(can add later) Machine, foot control, power cord, threads, scissors, seam ripper, frixion pen, ruler, steam a seam II
