A t present the club is w o rk in g on a film of the clim b of L o w er C ath ed ral Spire in Yosem ite. A bout 25 Su n d ays are devoted to practice clim bs on local rocks, w here beginners are train ed to w ard the proficiency required in Y osem ite. Each m em ber m ust pass tests to attain status as “Q u ali fied” or “L ead er,” and these classifications serve to control the m ake-up of c lim b in g parties.
