Cutting Instructions:
Chicken Panel (A) • Fussy cut twelve panels 1/4” outside the brown frames (Approximately 7 ½” x 8”). Red/White Dots (B) • Cut six 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2” x 8” strips. • Cut six 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2” x 10 ½” strips. Blue Feathers (C) • Cut four 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twenty-four 2” x 6 ½” strips. • Cut two 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twenty-four 3” x 5 ½” rectangles. Using Go Qube Die #5 to die-cut ninety-six small half-square triangles. • Cut one 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 5” squares. Using Go Qube Die #2 to die-cut twenty-four 2” squares. • Cut one 5 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 5 ½” squares. Using Go Qube Die #4 to die-cut twenty-four quarter-square triangles. Red/Yellow Diamonds (D) • Cut twenty-four 2” x 5 ” strips from the Fat Quarter. Using Go Qube Die #7 and the fabric facing right side up, die-cut twenty-four Diamonds.
Red Swirls (E) • Cut twenty-four 2” x 5 ” strips from the Fat Quarter. Using Go Qube Die #7 and the fabric facing right side down, die-cut twenty-four Diamonds. Purple Chicks (F) • Cut six 4 ½” squares from the Fat Quarter center each on a chick. Using Go Qube Die #1 to die-cut six 3 ½” squares. Yellow/White Dots (G) • Cut twelve 3” x 5 ½” rectangles from the Fat Quarter. Using Go Qube Die #5 to die-cut forty-eight small half-square triangles. Yellow Hay (H) • Cut ten 1 ½” x 20” strips. Sew the strips together and trim to make two 1 ½” x 45 ½” strips and two 1 ½” x 38 ½ strips.
Cutting Instructions - Cont.: Packed Flowers (I) • Cut three 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together to make two 4 ½” x 47 ½” strips. • Cut two 4 ½” x 38 ½” strips. Blue Suns (J) • Cut four 4 ½” squares from the Fat Quarter. Green/Blue Diamonds (K) • Cut six 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding. Backing (Your Choice) • Cut two 54” x WOF strips. Cut and Sew the fabric together to make one 54” x 63” piece for the backing.
Assembly Instructions:

Sew one 2” x 8” Fabric B strip to each side of the 7 ½” x 8” Fabric A panel. Sew one 2” x 10” Fabric B strip to the top and bottom of the Fabric A panel. Trim the block to measure 9 ½” square (Fig. 1). Block One make 12 B

Sew one small Fabric G triangle to one short side of one Fabric C large triangle (Fig. 2). Sew one small Fabric G triangle to the other short side of the Fabric C large triangle to make one GCG unit (Fig. 3). Repeat Step 2 to make twenty- four GCG units.
Follow Figure 4 to sew together four GCG units, one 3 ½” Fabric F square and four 2” Fabric C squares to make one Block Two Center. Repeat to make six Block Two Centers. Sew one 2” x 6 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Block Two center to make one Block Two (Fig. 5). Repeat to make six Block Two units total. Block Two make 6 C

Follow Figure 6 to sew together two Fabric C small Triangles and one Fabric E diamond to make one Unit 1. Repeat to make twenty-four Unit 1 triangles. Follow Figure 7 to sew together two Fabric C small Triangles and one Fabric D diamond to make one Unit 2. Repeat to make twenty-four Unit 2 triangles. Sew one Unit 1 triangle and one Unit 2 triangle to make one Unit 3 (Fig. 8). Repeat to make twenty-four Unit 3 squares. Unit 2 Unit 1 Unit 3 make24 make24 make24 C C

Sew four Unit 3 squares together to make one Block Three center (Fig. 9). Repeat to make six Block Three centers. Sew one 2” x 6” Fabric C strip to each side of Block Three center to make one Block Two unit (Fig. 10). Repeat to make six Block Three units. Block Three make6 make 6

Sew the twelve Block One squares, six Block Two units and six Block Three units into columns. Sew the columns together to make the quilt top. Sew one 1 ½” x 45 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew one 1 ½” x 38 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top. Sew one 4 ½” x 47 ½” Fabric I strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew one 4 ½” Fabric J square to each end of the 4 ½” x 38 ½” Fabric I strips to make the top and bottom borders. Sew the borders to the top and bottom of the quilt top. Layer and quilt as desired. J
Sew the six 2 ½” x LOF Fabric K strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
