Meeting Minutes for July 10,2016 Open/Start 6:40 PM Location: Hamburg Park Play ground Pavilion Opening Business Amendment made to the Football portion for last month’s minutes “By week first week of season only for Varsity” 1st Rory 2nd Martha The H.Y.F.C.A Board President- Ryan Horvath Vice President- Amanda Readinger Treasurer- Deb Brown Secretary- Sarah Rhoads Secretary Sarah Rhoads read last month’s minutes. Treasurer Report Deb Brown handed out a copy of the treasurer’s report and read through the listed items. The items are as follows: Open Balance June 5,2016 $13,724.23 Card Pants Sizing kit -$229.93 Card Boys Jersey payment -$2,652.78 Deposit 7/8/16 $965.00 Ending Balance $11,806.52 Cheerleading Several Uniform fittings have been held. We will be ordering new warm ups for Midgets. Budget adjustment request in the amount of $850.00 1 st Martha 2nd Shannon Cheer is running short on sizes to accommodate all cheerleaders; orders will be placed as needed. Orders include warm-ups, bows, socks, shoes, turtle necks, and bloomers. Reminder Sarah Rhoads needs all coach/assistant coach and volunteer clearances. Cheer(Midgets, Mites, Mighty Mite,Flag) start dates August 8th Please be advised Coaches will set their own day and own time per squad. For the best current information contact your child’s coach. Sarah Rhoads is still working with Tulpehocken HS for Cheer Competition 2016. Cheer competition will be held Nov. 5, 2016. Cheerleading Coaches Flag- Tabatha Sprentall

Football Chuck Head Coach for HAHS will be holding a coaches clinic July 25th Reminder all coaches/assistant and volunteers/team mom need to have their clearances turned into Ryan or Sarah ASAP September 10,2016 home game for JV however location will be at OLEY vs Blue MT or Location will be Kutztown vs Blue MT, Ryan will Talk with the coaches and will post the final location Game Pants – hold off on buying for all three programs mite, mighty mite, Ryan would like to see how they hold up after one season. Midgets will be fitted with the all in one pant. Amendment to football budget reduce by $512 (save from game pants) add $675 for speed agility training. Total footballs budget will be $230.50 less on budget 1 st Martha 2nd Rich August 2nd,3rd,4th ; speed agility training padded program only Flag Football start date August 11th 6-8 Football Coaches Flag- Travis Warke Mighty Mites- Richard Reinhart Mites- Paul Correll Midgets- Jeremy Baer Fundraising Charity Mania is still going on, a final turn in date is TBD. A Car Wash fundraiser may be held on August 13th with a rain date of August 19th location and times are TBD. Sponsorships Rory Rhoads has been busy around town looking for sponsorships, so far Pappy T’s and Hecky’s Sub Shop has donated. New Business ideas have been brought to attention on the “4 year program incentives” ie sweatshirts, and jackets. The board may be revising the terms and conditions. We will revisit this at the next meeting. Spirit Wear Ryan and Karyn have spirit wear ideas we will also revisit these during the next meeting
