The Santa Barbara Police Department is now taking applications for the Citizens Academy, starting Monday January 23, 2017. The Citizens Academy is a great way to learn about your Police Department and become more involved. Each week you will learn and participate in training that every police officer receives.
SBPD MISSION STATEMENT
During this 8-week program you will be exposed to investigative techniques, demonstrations of police technology, and hands-on police training. You will have the chance to ride along with officers, tour the station, and walk away more informed and aware of the Police Department’s responsibility to the community. Classes held 6:00 pm-8:00 pm every Monday until March 13th at the SBPD station. COST IS FREE! Class size is limited, sign up today!
