STATE TOURNAMENT RULES
STATE TOURNAMENT RULES 1.
Each team will be responsible for giving a $100 check to the tournament host prior to your first game.
2.
The home team in each game is determined by a coin flip at the umpire/coach meeting prior to the start of the game.
3.
The run rule for all ages is 15 runs ahead after 3 innings, 12 runs ahead after 4 innings, 8 runs after 5 innings.
4.
Games that are tied after the time limit will apply the tie breaker rule. Starting with the top of the inning, and each half inning thereafter, the offensive team shall begin its turn at bat with the player who is scheduled to bat last in that respective half inning being placed on second base.
5.
Umpires and the UIC will handle rules questions.
6.
The tournament director will handle eligibility protests.
7.
