Introductory Remark: It is the symposium coordinators’ responsibility to observe the suitability of the abstracts to be sent, both for the description of each symposium and for the individual abstracts. However, when it comes to the full-text scientific articles to be sent to the General Organization Commission, this responsibility is upon the authors. P.S: Publishing proposals that do not suit the rules and regulations below will not be accepted, such as:

SYMPOSIUM PROPOSALS a) GENERAL SYMPOSIUM ABSTRACT (Description) It must present the following layout: - Margins: 3 cm top margin and 2 cm the others; - Font size 12, Times New Roman style, single-spaced; - Centralized title, in accordance to capital and lower case typefaces whenever necessary, without boldfaced types (1 space below); - Name and last name. Institution – Acronym (University one’s associated with) the Coordinator or coordinators (1 space below), followed by the email to receive the communications for their symposiums; - GENERAL ABSTRACT: (subtitle written in capital and boldfaced types). Present a text with at least 200 words and a maximum of 250 words, in a way that explains the symposium’s general theme to be

discussed, single-spaced typed; Times New Roman, font size 12, with no paragraphs or indentation from the margin space; KEY-WORDS: (subtitle written in capital and boldfaced types). Choose from 3 to 5 key-words which specify the theme’s discussion, singlespaced typed, separated by semicolon.

Present a text with at least 200 words and a maximum of 250 words, single-spaced typed, Times New Roman, font size 12, with no paragraphs or indentation from the margin space, explaining the proposal discussion connected to the symposium’s general theme; - KEY-WORDS: (subtitle written in capital boldfaced types). Choose from 3 to 5 key-words, separated by semicolon, single-spaced typed, Times New Roman, font size 12, selected in a way that they might guide to your specific proposal’s discussion area. The oral presentation proposals must be sent to the symposium coordinators’ e-mails, depending on the participant’s interest, from June 16 th to July 18th, 2014. - Disclosure of the accepted oral presentations (in each symposium) on the homepage: July 21st, 2014. - Period for sending the acceptance letter for the approved oral presentations in each symposium: after July 21 st, 2014. - Official subscriptions and fee payment (participants with presentation): from July 21st to August 11th, 2014.

ARTICLES

Number of pages: do not include number of pages. The text must contain between 12 and 15 pages; Footnotes: only explanatory notes. ON THE TEXTUAL ORGANIZATION: Title: typed on the text’s first line, centralized, in accordance to capital and lower case typefaces whenever necessary, without boldfaced types (2 lines above); Author’s name: right-aligned (name and last name). Institution – Acronym – university one’s associated with – in parenthesis). (Give two spaces to continue the text); ABSTRACT: Single-spaced text, no paragraphs, Times New Roman font style, font size 12, with at least 200 words and a maximum of 250 words; KEY-WORDS: Choose from 3 to 5 key-words, single-spaced typed, separated by semicolon, Times New Roman font style, font size 12, selected in a way that they might guide to your specific proposal’s discussion area. (Leave 1 blank line to continue); RESUMEN: (the Spanish translation of the abstract follows the same rules and regulations for the text in Portuguese. (Do not leave a blank line to continue); PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Spanish translation of the key-words (Leave a space (1,5) between the lines to start the text); TEXTUAL BODY FORMAT The text must be typed in 1,5 cm lining space, Times New Roman font style, font size 12 and indented paragraph format, to the left, 1,5 cm. Use italic only to highlight words in another language or for book titles; SUBTITLES: in case there are subtitles on the text, they must come leftaligned, 1,5 cm line spacing between the lines from the previous to the subsequent text, no indentation, and in CAPITAL LETTER; Texts must present a minimum of 12 pages and a maximum of 15 pages, in accordance to the ABNT rules and regulations for scientific papers. The writing of each text, its ideological content and linguistic suitability are under the sole responsibility of the author. The texts, properly written under the rules and regulations, must be sent to the Symposiums’ Coordinators up until August 12th, under the coming orientation to be posted, later, on the event’s website.
