Statement by PNC at the Upper East Regional Consultative Forum

1 STATEMENT BY THE PEOPLE’S NATIONAL CONVENTION (PNC) Presented by George Agulijam Date: 10th September, 2015 Venue: Ghana Health Service In-Service Training Centre, Bolgatanga -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good morning to everybody. Mr. Chairman, I represent the People’s National Convention (PNC). I state categorically that we support any long-term plan that is going to accelerate the development of this country. We also believe that it is important we come out with a comprehensive document that guides our development for the next 40 years and beyond. However, if we don’t change our attitude, if we don’t change our discipline and the way we do things, we are going to waste the taxpayers’ resources here and in the end, we would be back where we started. I am saying this because this programme was supposed to start about an hour ago. We wasted all this time. Are we going to continue that when we go to the Northern Region, when we go to Brong Ahafo and so on? Let’s agree that we need to do things differently. Thank you very much and God bless you.
