Staten Island South Shore YMCA elects two new members to its Committee of Management Appointments include a successful financial advisor and a leading educator STATEN ISLAND, NY – (March 28, 2017) – The Staten Island South Shore YMCA is honored to welcome two new members to its Committee of Management. The new members are: William John Marco and Judith Wilson. Marco, a YMCA member, is the founder of Marco Wealth Strategies Group, Inc. He works predominately with business owners and individuals on their unique financial planning needs and has been dedicated to financial services for over 20 years. His focus is on assisting clients in creating, preserving and transferring assets while minimizing taxes, and implementing strategies to mitigate risk. Marco holds a Certified Wealth Strategist ® (CWS®) designation from Cannon Financial Institute, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist ® (AAMS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning, and is designated as a Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) from The International Foundation for Retirement Education®. He has been a frequent guest on financial radio shows such as AM970 The Answer, and 1450 WCTC, as well as a panel guest on local cable SICTV. He is a strong supporter of local groups and community charities including the American Cancer Society Team DetermiNation, Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project, and sits on the board of the Pleasant Plains, Princes Bay, Richmond Valley Civic Association. Ms. Wilson has been an active member of the Staten Island YMCA since 2000. She is currently working for the Executive Leadership Institute at the Council of School Supervisors & Administrators as a Renewal School Leadership Coach and mentors new assistant principals. Ms. Wilson is also an adjunct instructor/field supervisor in the Master’s Program for School Leadership at Touro College. A former Principal of PS 3 on Staten Island, she was also an assistant principal and teacher at IS 7. As a parent and grandparent, Ms. Wilson continues to dedicate herself to the education and well-being of the Staten Island community.
