A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR Valuing All People Luke 19:1-10 All people matter to Jesus. The story of Jesus' encounter with Zaccheus underscores this truth. This account also challenges us to consider how we value people. Do people matter as much to us as they do to Jesus? Let's answer that question this morning by considering Jesus' approach to people. Valuing people as Jesus requires that we: 1. _________________________________others as Jesus did. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ 2. _________________________________stereotyping others. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ 3. __________________________________________to them. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ 4. __________________________our resources to reach them. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ 5. _______________________________them with authenticity. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ If you prefer to use your mobile device for note taking, the YouVersion Bible App is a free download to iPads, iPhones and Androids. With it you can enjoy over 25 English translations of the Bible. Also, you can navigate to "Events” and search for events by our zip code and see Pastor Butch’s sermon outline. You can take sermon notes and save those notes to review at any time. If you have questions about getting YouVersion to work on your device contact, Matt Lampley.

Welcome to First Albany! Thank you for worshipping with us. Our prayer is that you will experience God through our people and our worship. If you have any questions or needs, our greeters, ushers, and staff are available to assist you in any way. Please fill out your connection card that is inserted in this worship guide. Drop it in the offering plate as it passes by or bring it to me in the Atrium. I would love to meet you and your family in the Atrium after the service. We would just like a record of your presence in our service.

EXPERIENCE NEW BEGINNINGS Acknowledge your need for God’s help. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 Believe that God has provided new beginnings in Jesus Christ. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 Now God has demonstrated His own love for us, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Romans 10:9 Commit yourself to experiencing new beginnings every day. I therefore urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, this is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1
