Although serious injuries are not common in supervised school athletic programs, it is impossible to eliminate this risk. Get Ahead Sports does not screen applicants of these programs for illness, injuries, allergies or other medical conditions, which would prevent or limit participation in any athletic or outdoor program. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to evaluate the applicant’s ability to participate in any Get Ahead Sports Camp/Clinic/Program. 2014 Boys and Girls Summer Basketball Camp

Director: Bobby Hurley Bobby Hurley joined the men's basketball staff at Stevens Institute of Technology as a full-time assistant coach in August of 2003. On June 24, 2008, Director of Athletics Russell Rogers announced the hiring of Bobby Hurley as the new head men’s basketball coach at Stevens Institute of Technology. A 2001 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hurley was a four-year starter for the Red Hawks. Since graduating from Rensselaer, Hurley has worked with Hoop Group, one of the largest basketball instructional organizations in the country. He served as the director of the Pocono Invitational Basketball Camp in East Stroudsburg, Pa. During the summer of 2007 and once again in 2008, Hurley directed the Get Ahead Sports men’s summer basketball league in Hoboken. Director: Waleed Farid Waleed Farid ‘08 was promoted to top men's basketball assistant coach in October of 2012. Farid was a volunteer assistant with the Ducks two seasons ago before being promoted to top assistant. Farid is also one of the most decorated players in Stevens men’s basketball history, guiding the Ducks to the “Sweet 16” of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament in 2007 and the program’s first-ever ECAC Metro title in 2008. He was a part of the first two 20-win campaigns in program history, and graduated from Stevens as the career leader in points, rebounds and steals. He is currently second all-time in points and rebounds, first in steals and near the top in a variety of other categories.
