Play all teams 2 times except for: Chan/Chaska EP Edina Jefferson Minnetonka Prior Lake Mankato More games so it’s a good thing Safesport: ALL coaches HAVE to have Safesport done before they step on the ice to coach...so get going on it. It takes 6 hours. If you did it 2 years ago you are due for the refresher. Registration will be collecting this from coaches as a part of the coach’s file. Ice Scheduling weekend: October 10th and 11th - league games Still a question if there will be Mite scheduling again like last year D5 playoffs - Can we host? We can only host the Feb 12-14 weekend all other weekends are booked with playoff and a jamboree. We will most likely take this request. However, we are already have an excess of 1,000 volunteer hours for the season. People will need to help out. *Mite/Initiation Coordinator – Jenny Bilicki *Boys Coordinator- Kari Wise *Girls Coordinator - Matt Weimer Cost reduction for new skaters - We have had 2-4 families express interest in hockey but the cost is to expensive. Motion was made to have these brand new skaters, brand new to the game, new to association hockey, new to STMAYHA and have never played before pay 50% of actual fees plus including costs for tournaments and playoffs. Volunteer requirement would be the same. Would be a 1 year pilot program. If we had concerns we would cross reference USA Hockey to ensure these skaters are actually new. Matt/Tammy W - Approved **Registration Kristen Huber/Jess Vankuyk *Volunteer Coordinator – Kris McDonald Mite Volunteer Checks - All volunteer checks br $350. Easier for tracking and all families are more inclined to do their hours. Kris/Tammy W - Approved Requested $500 for tournament budget for supplies, decorations, cricket machine and other items needed to host a tournament. Will keep things year over year. Kris/Matt F - Approved Side note - Associations are usually asked to host a tournament everyother year. We have been asked to host again this year. We must be doing something good! Talked about AFCD volunteer hours - we will need roughly 200 hours of volunteers to work. We will not be looking to move our volunteer season during the 15-16 season. *Fundraising Coordinator - Bill Robinson

Executive Board Reports President’s Report – Josh Opiola Arena Board Meeting update At the meeting STMAYHA showed up ready and positioned to move forward with another sheet of ice. We have available 750k (250 from our savings and 500k guaranteed loan). The City of Albertville will work on the Mighty Ducks grant (250k) and submit by 10/1/15. We did what they asked - we have about 1 M ready. The number to remember is $8.00. $8 is what the arena would cost a household per year. A 2nd sheet of ice is expected to generate at least 1.5 M in revenue - bringing that money into STMA. This is huge for not just hockey, but for the community. We will bring in tournaments and get on a schedule to host State tournaments. The cities will go back and present to city councils the information from the Arena Board Meeting. Then a tour of facilities will occur - to see what's out there and what kind of build we would want to do. We also need to look for donations to the arena - big donations. Terms of the Mighty Ducks grant - if you are awarded the grant you have 18 months to break ground or forfeit the grant. Should know more before the end of the year. The Arena Board gave our association a round of applause for all of our hard work!
