AURORA UNIVERSITY
Strength and Conditioning Camp 2013 INFORMATION Aurora University is offering its first ever Strength and Conditioning Camp for seventh graders and up. The goal of this 10-week camp is to identify the areas of improvement in each individual and develop a comprehensive training program designed specifically for the individual athlete’s needs and demands required by his or her sport/position. Progression throughout the strength and conditioning program will focus on an increase in athletic performance and the reduction of injuries acquired in sport. Coach Trudo’s program is research-based and developed to help you meet your goals. The sport specificity of each program will allow you to get stronger, jump higher, run faster and gain an edge on the competition. STRUCTURE The first week of camp will consist of technique training, nutritional education and pre-tests. The next eight weeks will consist of sports specific training that highlights strength, speed, power, quickness, endurance and injury prevention. Each athlete will have the benefit of working through a program that meets his or her individual and sporting needs. The final week of class will consist of all post-testing measures. CLASS SCHEDULE The Spartan Strength and Conditioning Camp will be a 10-week camp that meets four times a week.
