FTF Engineering is a successful, boutique structural engineering firm with offices in San Luis Obispo and San Francisco. We specialize in challenging, architecturally - driven projects in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors throughout the Central Coast and the Greater Bay Area. Our office environment is open, communicative, team-oriented, fast-paced, high energy, flexible, and fun. Our engineers all work on multiple projects simultaneously and we strive to provide exceptional and innovative engineering solutions. We are actively seeking a college intern for our San Luis Obispo office with the potential for future full time employment after graduation in San Luis Obispo or San Francisco. You should be someone who can learn from anyone and wants to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Requirements: ■
Senior or Grad Student in the CalPoly Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering (with emphasis in structural) departments
■
Minimum 16 hours per week during school, more hours available during holidays and summer break.
■
Proficient drafting skills using AutoCAD
■
Physically capable of navigating construction sites
Computer Skills: ■
AutoCAD, Revit, RISA-3D, Enercalc, Excel
