Student Checklist
What is D-Now Weekend? D-Now is a fun, energetic, and engaging weekend retreat for 6th through 12th grade students. This weekend was designed to create an atmosphere in which students develop a closer relationship with God, other students and adult leaders. Students will stay in a church member’s home for the weekend in a small group that is both grade and gender based.
Why D-Now? The purpose of our D-Now weekends is to provide students with an opportunity to experience Christ in a new and fresh way. Students will be challenged to grow as a disciple of Christ and to serve Him with their life. This weekend retreat is designed to saturate students with the Word of God and to begin mobilizing them for the cause of Christ. It is sure to be a wonderful time of strengthening, encouragement, and challenge that they don’t want to miss!
What Will The Students Get? Dynamic worship, Biblical teaching, and life changing fellowship with God and other students. All materials and meals are included for the whole weekend as well as a really awesome t-shirt.

Student Checklist What To Bring A fantastic attitude and a desire to draw near to God Bible, pen, notebook, etc. Sleeping Bag/Air Mattress and Pillow Appropriate casual clothing for each day (this should include clothes that can be worn for a service project on Saturday – Project will consist of anything from yard work to door-to-door evangelism) Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.)
What NOT To Bring Spaghetti strap tops, halter tops, tube tops or tank tops Tight clothing “Short” shorts or skirts Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, or weapons Clothing with questionable sayings, slogans, etc Clothing that promotes alcohol, cigarettes or any other inappropriate items Any other items that would not be pleasing to God or would be detrimental to the opportunity to grow closer to God
