The Legacy Cross-Country course takes it up a notch

with a challenging mix of climbs, forested single-track, fast descents, rock gardens, and fast traverses. Designed to provide options for racers of all abilities, the Nordic Mountain trails also provide some of the best spectating in all of mountain biking with easy access to all the action.

XC Course: The Legacy Cross-Country course takes

it up a notch with a challenging mix of punchy climbs, forested single-track, fast descents, rock gardens, technical switchbacks, and fast traverses while providing options for racers of all abilities. Racers pass through the area in front of the lodge several times each lap to provide outstanding spectator opportunities.

XC Race Categories: Pro Men & Women (UCI License required), Cat 1 Men & Women (USA Cycling Annual License required), Cat 2 Men & Women (WORS Sport & Comp), one day license available, Cat 3 Men & Women (WORS Citizen),

one day license available, Masters, Juniors (All racers of race-age* 7-14) *Race-age is age as of 12/31/2012.

Pro: Men (3:30pm Saturday), Women (1:00pm Saturday). Cat 1 Men: Junior 15-16, Junior 17-18, 19-23, 24-34, 35-44,

The course

for this event starts at the top of the ski lifts and finishes near the Subaru Cup Expoarea making it approximately 75% gravity assisted. The 2011 course redesign was well received and even more fun is planned for this year’s course. Race Format: Waves of 15 or fewer. Starting at 3pm, racers will leave at 4 minute intervals by a LeMans start. Start Order will be posted at noon on Sunday. Any racer overtaken by a racer from a later wave MUST yield immediately!
