Please note the new location of the accessible urinals because the elevations do not show this. The existing accessible urinals are consistently located at the end of the row next to a perpendicular wall. Unfortunately, these urinals are typically located less than 15" from the wall which does not comply with current code. Axis' coordination of the new toilet room layouts found it was less invasive to limit demolition to 2 fixtures and creating the accessible stall through the location of the partitions rather than shifting all the fixtures along the wall. However, the relocation of the accessible urinal means some plumbing work in the wall to mount the new fixtures at the required heights.
