Designed by Heidi Pridemore Please read all instructions before starting. Measurement on borders are approximate. Measure your quilt top before cutting. Use a 1/4” seam allowance unless otherwise noted. Width of Fabric = WOF, Length of Fabric = LOF
Note: Below we have provided both die-cutting and traditional cutting instructions. You only need to use one set of cutting instructions in order to complete the project. The chosen method is up to you.
Die Cutting Instructions:
Ditsy Flower - Red (A) • Cut two 4” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with a diagonal seam and cut one 4” x 74” strip. • Cut one 1 ½” x 42 1/2” strip, piece as needed. Bouquets - Red (B) • Cut one 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut two 5” squares. Using the Go Mix and Match Die #2, die cut six 2” squares. Bouquets - Tan (C) • Cut one 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut four 3 ½” x 10 ½” strips. • Cut one 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut six 5” squares. Using the Go Mix and Match Die #8, die cut twelve 2” x 3 ½” strips. Tossed Flowers - Tan/Red (D) • Cut one 3” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into four 3” x 5 ½” strips. Using the Go Mix and Match Die #5, die cut sixteen small triangles. Block Assembly Instructions for both Die Cut and Traditional Methods:

Sew together two 2” Fabric B squares and two 2” Fabric I squares to make one Unit 1 square (Fig. 1). Repeat to make three Unit 1 squares total. Sew one 2” x 3 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of one Unit 1 square to make the middle row. Sew one 2” Fabric H square to each end of one 2” x 3 ½” Fabric C strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew the rows together to make a Block One square (Fig. 2). Repeat to make three Block One squares total.

Sew to the Unit 6 strip to the top of one 1 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric A strip. Sew the apron bottom section to the bottom of the Fabric A strip to make the apron body. Place apron body and 17 ½” x 42 ½” fabric N piece right sides together. Sew down each side and across the bottom. Turn right sides out and press. Using a gathering stitch or a ruffle foot to gather the top edge of the apron body to the desired fullness.

To make the apron tie unit, fold one 4" x 74" Fabric A strip in half lengthwise and press (Fig. 11). Open the folded fabric and fold each long edge to the creased centerline and press (Fig. 12). Fold the pressed fabric in half again and press to make one 1" x 74" apron tie strip (Fig. 13). Fold in each short end of the apron tie ¼” and press. Measure and mark the center point on the apron tie and the center point on the top of the gathered apron body. Slide the apron body inside the folded apron tie, butt up the edge of the apron body to the folded edge of the tie. Pin the two pieces together. Starting at one end of the tie, topstitch down one short side of the tie and then along the long edge of the tie and then up the second short side of the tie, to finish the tie edges and to sew the tie to the Fig. 11 apron body.
