So much of our instability is rooted in our inability to recognize the nature of the battle. The Book of Acts shows us what happened when people came to Jesus and were transformed by the Holy Spirit; God’s kingdom demonstration over Satan’s bondages. Nature of the Battle is Spiritual • What does it mean to be spiritual awake? What was P. Mike referring to? • What is opposing the church? Why? • Are you experiencing opposition in your life? • Can we make ourselves strong (spiritual) or does it take something else? Identity of the enemy is the DEVIL • What belief system followed the post-enlightenment western worldview? • People struggle with problems, how do we know if it’s a physical issue or demonic entanglements? • How does this help us counsel people or pray for them? • How does a person grow in the area of discernment? • What titles are listed about our enemy: v Matt. 4:3 v Rev. 12:9 v Rev. 12:10 • What does this tell you about him? Nature of his scheme is DECEPTION • How do you think the devil learns about you? • How has he used misdirection in your life to get you off track? • What is the difference between conviction and condemnation? • Who is the biggest problem in your life right now? • How can you suit up correctly to handle this person or situation?
