FREE - Get Into... dance, fun & games

Family fun bike rides

10am - 11am, Friday’s 25 July, 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 August

Every Saturday during the summer holidays from Saturday 19th July 10-11.30am

Every Friday during the summer holidays we are working with Ashington Children’s Centre to run Family Zumba and Fun n Games. Friday 10-11am at Ashington Children’s Centre (just over the road from the Welfare) Great opportunity for parents and kids to come along, have fun, learn some moves and get fit and active...and its all FREE!

As part of our Get Into programme the centre is working in partnership with Watbike to run a regular Saturday summer bike ride. Skills challenges, timed obstacle courses, bike maintenance and skills training. Helmets and bikes available to use but all participants must pre book these with Colin @ Watbike 01670 522999 or 07918 075187.

Pre school summer fun camp Monday - Thursday from 21st July- 14th August New session delivered from our nursery for pre-school children (aged 5 years and under). Each session will involve a mixture of fun activities. Snack and lunch will be provided. Please note all sessions must be booked & paid for in advance.

Children’s hot dinners for only £2.50 Choice of Hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, sausages with chips and beans/ or Ham, cheese or jam sandwich with crisps served with a drink, cake or piece of fruit.

Crafty bakers 10am - 2pm, Monday’s 21, 28 July & 4 August

Kidz days

Spend the morning being creative with arts and crafts making things such as masks, photo frames or puppets followed by even more creativity in the kitchen in the afternoon. Try your hand and decorating cup cakes, making pizzas or various other culinary delights.

10am - 2pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday’s - 22 July until 14 August Activity days for younger kids. 4-9 years. Chance to try different games and activities and generally have a good time. A mixture of sporting activities designed to keep the kids active all day. Dinners available from the cafe. Bring a jacket for outdoor activities.

£7 per day for or £25 for 4 days FREE - Give sport a go open day Friday 15 August Opportunity to try a selection of our sporting, recreational and dance activities with a selection of FREE activities running throughout the day including Family Zumba Dance, Pilates, Family Fun n Games, Running Club, Bike Ride, Family Gym, Weightlifting, Hulacize, Boxing and Love to Dance...
