Summer Advanced Throwing Clinics Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, Javelin Abilene Christian University Throws Coach Jerrod Cook is hosting clinics in all track and field throwing events. Please join us at ACU’s Elmer Gray Track Stadium to improve your skills in the throws. • • • • •
Requirements and Regulations You must be a high school freshman – an incoming high school senior to attend. Limit six athletes per session/event. Each throws session per athlete is $40. (ex. $40 per discus; $40 per shot) You must email to register. You must bring your own implements (ACU will provide hammers and javelins and all drill equipment for these two events). Session Times and Dates Friday, June 26, 2015 – 6 p.m. Discus; 7:15 p.m. Shot Put Saturday, June 27, 2015 – 6 p.m. Javelin; 7:15 p.m. Hammer Friday, July 17, 2015 – 6 p.m. Discus; 7:30 p.m. Shot Put Saturday, July 18, 2015 – 6 p.m. Javelin; 7:15 p.m. Hammer Friday, August 7, 2015 – 6 p.m. Discus; 7:30 p.m. Shot Put Saturday, August 8, 2015 – 6 p.m. Javelin; 7:15 p.m. Hammer Contact Information For more information and to reserve a session please e-mail Jerrod Cook at [email protected].
