Summer Assignment: Honors Algebra I Prospective Honors Algebra I Students: below is the summer work required for Honors Algebra I next year. Please have the work completed by the second day of class. The summer assignment will be worth your first test grade. Remember that this is our first impression of you, so hopefully you have done a complete and thorough job. The following rubric will be used to grade the assignment for correctness.

Please follow these instructions when working through the packet: 1. All problems should be completed without the use of a calculator. 2. Follow the directions for each section. 3. Show all necessary steps (even the simple math you do in your head). All answers must be in simplest form. Circle or box in your final answer. 4. You may attach a separate sheet if necessary but you must label which question you are working on. 5. Your work should be neat, well organized, and easy to follow so that a teacher or fellow student can easily follow it. A list of answers accompanied by the explanation that your work is on another discarded sheet of paper, for example, is not acceptable. 6. All solutions should be exact answers, not decimals approximations, except where noted. 7. Listed are some websites you can use as references to help you with your packet.
