Claflin University Men’s Basketball Team
The Undersigned, being a parent or legal guardian of the child requesting camp admittance, does hereby affirm that the applicant is physically able to perform activities conducted at the Claflin University Men’s Basketball Camps and I hereby authorize any medical evaluation or treatment which may be advised or recommended by qualified medical personnel of my child while at Claflin University Men’s Basketball Camp. In Consideration of my application being accepted, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive and release and forever discharge any and all claims for damages, which may have or may hereafter occur to me against Claflin University, The Men’s Basketball program or their respective officers, agents, representatives, successors and / or assigns for any or all damages which may be sustained or suffered in connection with my association with, or participation in, the Claflin University Men’s Basketball Camps on the campus of Claflin University. CAMP DATES July 23rd-25th
Camp Fees Ages 6-10 $50 Ages 11-16 $70 Elite Day: Additional $15 ** Payment must be made in full at time of registration ** **$20 off for Early Registration ends July 16th **
Objectives The goals and objectives of this camp are to teach the young athletes the fundamentals of basketball and instill in them, that with hard work and dedication anything is possible. They will learn the meaning of teamwork and become better teammates through every minute at camp.
The Panthers basketball camp is a camp where we invite all upcoming basketball players to come together and get better as a player.
Camp Itinerary 10:00 am – Introduction (1st day only) 10:10 am - Stretch & Warm up 10:30 am - Skills Stations 11:20 am - *BREAK*
You Will Need To Bring…
11:30 am - Skill Stations

Athletic Socks, Shirts, Shorts
2.
Basketball shoes
1:30 pm - Guest Speaker/”The Shot”
3.
Lunch (Concession stand will be available)
1:45 pm - Games 3 v 3
12:20 pm - Lunch
2:05 pm - *BREAK*
Awards Ceremony There will be awards given at the end of each day. Parents are encouraged to see the accolades their children have received over the time they have been at camp.
2:15 pm - Games 5 v 5 2:45 pm - Review/Awards 3:00 pm - Dismissal
Elite Day This Day will consist of skill development at an intense level. Athletes are given the opportunity to learn advanced skills through a full college workout. Elite Day participants will receive a free T-shirt Camp Features The counselors and coaches of the camp will be basketball players and coaches of the Claflin University Men’s Basketball Team.
