Summer Camp Tennis Coach - Broadway Tennis Center Broadway Tennis Center is looking for a motivated experienced tennis instructor with excellent communication skills for our 10 weeks of Summer Camp. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, energetic team member, and have a proven track record of engaging and teaching junior players. This is a temporary position from 6/13/16 - 8/19/16, M-F, 9a - 5p, providing individual and group instruction. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Coaching and Instruction
Ability to assess a player’s ability and positively communicate improvement methods Motivate players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the healthy tennis lifestyle Teach, promote, and manage summer camp programs for all levels of players, ages 6-18.
Client Retention
Build and maintain relationships with players and prepare them with skills required to qualify for additional BTC programs and tournaments Provide a cheerful, energetic interaction with clients, parents, players, and fellow team members
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional coaching and competitive play experience. Responsible, reliable and punctual USPTA certification is preferred, but not required Demonstrate enthusiasm working with kids at all levels from Beginner to Peak Performance Effective organizational and time management skills Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility Ability to work independently exercising discretion and judgment Ability to embrace diversity. Exhibit professional manner and appearance. Pay based on completion of 10 week program ($7000) and opportunity for additional pay for private lessons Must be available 6/13/16 - 8/19/16, M-F, 9a -5p Ability to lift up to 50lbs

We offer a range of programs for all ages, all levels, including Summer Camps, Junior & Adult Clinics, Shot of the Week, Leagues, Private Lessons, and Open Court rentals.
