Summer Reading Choices – Fifth Grade Language Arts & Literature In preparation for Fifth Grade Language Arts and Literature, students will choose two books to read this summer from the lists below. At least one book has to be from the Maryland Black Eyed-Susan Book Award Nominees listed below. Students are to fill out one Summer Reading Inventory for each of the two books they read. They should be prepared to turn both Inventories in the first week of school.
